Places::Carmel-by-the-sea (Sunset @ Carmel Beach)

        After lunch we checked-in at our hotel to rest for a while then we headed to the beach since Dylan wanted to try flying a kite, Danii wanted to collect sea shells, and I wanted to take pictures of the sunset.  We've never seen sunsets quite like the one we saw at Carmel beach that day.

         Dinah got Danii to do a cartwheel.  I can't remember how many times she did this since it was hard to take moving pics with low light.

         Dinah helped Dylan with his kite.  I told Dylan that I've never flown a kite before so better ask mom to help.

        This time the sun has set completely and the skies turned from an orange to a bluish hue.

        Dylan finally got his kite flying.  I'm so jealous.  How I wish I could do that too.

        Nice picture of the moon during sunset.  My wife dared me if I can take the shot.  'Think it turned out quite well.

Places::Carmel-by-the-sea (Late lunch @ Flaherty's)

        Carmel is about a four hour drive from where we live.  We arrived past noon and headed straight to the public parking lot at the of corner of Torres St. and 3rd Ave.  We were deciding on what things to bring along for our walking tour when this green ("Doc Hudson-like") police car caught our attention.  I hurried to get my wife's camera out, walked towards the police officer and ask if I can take photos.  The man was kind enough to let me take some snapshots and this is how it looked like.

        From the parking lot, we headed to San Carlos St. to look for the Tourist Information Center to get some maps of the area and maybe get some good tips on where to get some grub since we're really hungry.  The gentleman who assisted us recommended Flaherty's.

        On the way to Flaherty's, we passed by the Hog's Breath Inn which was previously owned by "Clint Eastwood" (used to be Mayor of this town too).
        Flaherty's was packed when we got there.  We had to stay outside while waiting for a table since the place wasn't that big.

         Dylan had the New England clam chowder in sourdough bread bowl.  He was quite disappointed with the taste.  He said it's not as good as the one he had in San Francisco.

        The cioppino I ordered for myself had a buttery taste, not what I expected but quite nice nonetheless

        Dinah shared this one with Danii.  Forgot what it's called though.  Jambalaya?  Gumbo?
