Places::Coron, Palawan (Day 1)

        It was the beginning of our 4th week.  That Sunday we were off to Manila again since we'll be flying to Coron, Palawan the following day.  Lee dropped us off at the Laoag International Airport that day.  Dinah and I were worried about the carry-on weight limit but everything went well, no excess baggage.  That was our first time on a domestic flight in the Philippines.  We flew via Airphil Express and that was the first time Dinah and I experienced flight delays.

         We arrived in Manila almost 9 pm already.  From the NAIA Terminal 3 we took an airport metered cab to Best Western La Corona Hotel in Ermita.  We didn't have reservations.  Luckily they have an available room and we were given 20% walk-in discount upon check-in.

        Danii and Dylan loved the room especially Dylan who even asked me to take a picture of the rainfall shower head in the bathroom.

        We just had dinner at Aristocrat in Roxas Blvd. that night since that was the nearest good place to eat from our hotel.

        The following day, we were supposed to be on a 12 noon flight to Coron via Airphil Express but the flight was delayed as usual.  We arrived at Busuanga Airport around 4 pm.  We found out that there were no other means of transport from the airport to Coron town proper except these vans that cost 150 pesos per person.

         We asked to be dropped off at Asia Grand View Hotel.  Again we didn't have any reservations.  Luckily again, they have an available room and best of all, they accepted Visa.  We got our welcome drinks soon after I finished checking in.

         We just had dinner at the hotel's restaurant that night and went night swimming in the pool after that.

         So far so good.  The hotel was a bit pricey but the amenities and services were excellent.
