Malcapuya Island is considered the Boracay of Palawan due to its fine white sand beaches. We had to travel around 1.5 hours via the open sea to get there. It was a good thing that the waters were calm even with the rain clouds just looming over the horizon.
The waters around Malcapuya Island were quite shallow, Ryan and Mayer had to check the depth with a long bamboo pole to make sure that we won't hit any coral beds.
The beach was on the other side of the island so we had to walk on land, a short walk to get to the beach where you wouldn't see any boat docked on its shore. Ryan said we can stay there until 11 am then we could hop to the next island, Banana Island for lunch.
I wasn't able to take much pics for it started to rain a little. So I just went ahead swimming with the kids.
When we arrived at Banana Island, Mayer said that we'll be having lunch shortly, he was just finishing up grilling the fish. He also joked that the island, though named Banana Island did not have any banana trees.
Not long after that, he started bringing us the lunch they prepared. I was really impressed with their grilling. The prawns were steamed with Sprite instead of plain water. Also liked the roasted eggplant with diced onions and tomato salad.
After lunch we headed to Bulog Dos Island where Danii and Dylan really had a great time with the starfishes that they found ashore.
That night, back at the hotel, we had our last dinner at Coron, we planned on just having a light dinner since we ate a lot during lunch but Dylan begged to differ.
